Zmy330, I'm sorry but how many gay people have you actually taken the time to get to know and listen to? You seem to be absolutely certain that their "lifestyle" as you call it is "chosen". I assume that you are heterosexual. At what point in life did you "choose" to be not gay? You state that the Lord isn't going to "accept him while he's still a sinner". That's just plain wrong. We're ALL sinners.

Teensarenotchilren: No one is saying they hate homosexuals, and you are incorrect GOD did not make him that way. The bible is clear homosexuality is an abomination but not unforgiveable. No one is turning their back on anyone but simply praying for them. Sin is a sin is a sin and this chosen lifestyle is a sin in the eyes of our father JESUS CHRIST.

At one time people believed the crippled & lame were "sinners" and that they should be cast out from the city. Jesus said "no" to that belief. If he were here today, he would say the same to those who hate homosexuals. God made them that way. I don't kow why, but I will not turn my back on them, because God will send me to hell for that action. Shame on you! for not being more like Jesus and open-armed.

Sexual orientation is not a defect it is a desire to be with the same sex. Jesus turned no one away and no one is turning away homosexuals. To be unaccepting of the lifestyle is not turning anyone away but simply voicing a religious & moral belief. Jesus does not hate the homosexual he hates the sin of the act & thats why he is here to help those in sin overcome their worldly ways. Pray for all those in sin that they repent and come to CHRIST JESUS.

If a person can be born without a limb, or without a brain (i.e. mentally retarded), then I'm sure a person can be born with a "defective" sex orientation. Jesus did not turn-away the lepers or the lame - neither should we turn away the homosexuals.

Renee0722 you are so wrong, homosexuality is a chosen lifestyle and not something a person is born with. The lord does not accept him while he is still a sinner and sad to say homosexuality is a sin in the eyes of GOD. Yes GOD still loves him and always will but GOD hates the sin. We need to pray for him that GOD will touch him and his family.
