He (the lead singer of Filter) was in the original Nine Inch Nails band line up, so you aren't that far off. Also, he happens to be the brother of Robert Patrick... the dude who played the T1000 in Terminator 2 :)

I remember first watching this back in 94-95 and thinking he was related to trent reznor for some reason.. so long ago.. sigh.

yeah lol i remember that, it went perfectly with that scene. other good songs used perfectly in that movie is blind by silverchair and more human than human by white zombie.

its not really "out of nowhere" as much as it was on live television. he was already convicted and was probably gonna rot in jail. but damn, suicide on TV, that's something else. that's one way to make an appeal in court! :D
