Brilliant ....I love this man, I really hope I can meet him one day give him a hug and say thankyou but it may not be what he wants I don't think there is anything I could give him that he needs but if there were I would give it gratefully !.....

The song (soundtrack from the film "Wonderboys") was honored with an Oscar, I think in 2001...

Love him eating a hamburger in the end, love the song, the lyrics and the video.
Even the film is not bad too.

"Don't get up gentlemen
I'm only passing through".
Those lyrics are so straightforward and simple but yet they're so damned deep and profound it's scary!! This wordsmith named Dylan has bewitched me.
BLESS BobDylanTV for posting this! Thanks cj for featuring.

really amazing that someone of his age is able to take his musical talent and not so much change to suit the commercial industry of music but rather feel the pureness of his talent and make it sound good. so many older musicians fall into trying to bring back an old sound rather than go with that feeling of their soul.

I've thought that, too -- especially when you listen to Cohen's "The Future", which is what plays during the credits to "Natural Born Killers." Somehow, there's a similarity between the sound of Dylan's song here and Cohen's. And both are poetic and philosophical about the world today.
