he speaks pretty good english..it's just the pauses and the accent that makes it unclear sometimes

His english isn't that good. But he could speak 5 or more languages, canto, mandrian, and japanese, he spoke really well. And the westerners aren't actually comparing johnny depp with takeshi, they are just ya you know, trying to give him honor, though that may not be welcomed. But I guess takeshi don't mind.
