Apology accepted. I really didn't know that Ronnie had a brother! Guess I have been out of touch with Southern rock & roll too long.

thats awesome man, then i appologize if i offended you. but its kinda hard to mistake ronnie and johnny. must have been great to have met him.

I wasn't joking about Ronnie. I met him and the band when I worked the stage crew at the University of Kansas back in the 70's. I worked a lot of shows back then and Skynard was the ONLY band that came around and personally thanked the student crew that set them up and packed them up after the show. Everyone else (Beach Boys, Chicago, Yes, etc.)arrived at showtime, played the show, then split without saying a word to the people who worked so hard to make it happen. Skynard was a class act!

I just sat here listening to the song when a friend came in and told me they had found his father dead ... drank him self to death. Sends chills down my spine.

i suggest you look at the history of the band Beefliverpie, you might learn a few things. And yes he aint bad but it would be great to have Ronnie, Allen, the Gaines, and the others back.
