You don't play online. Whenever it says that a creature was made by another person, it is just a copy of their creature that is run by AI, you aren't actually interacting with anyone.

how do you know if you are playing online and others are playing with you?? on spore, like i see MAxis as if the creator of the creature, but is it an actual person?? or just a name they put on all the spore creature??

this trailer is based on an earlier version of spore which is shown on a bunch of videos made by incursus41. they got rid of the bit where you go underwater and make submarines. also if you are playing the new version of spore and you are in the creature stage DO NOT go into the water. if you go too far you get eaten by a sea monster.
