Just got it. Works fast. Didn't remove anything. Could only afford the $445. Got what I wanted - a fully-functioning Lenovo Tablet PC. Down the road ... $2000+ one with bells and whistles.

but it's so slow and there's no upgrade for the HD since it's 1.8". But there will be a 5400rpm by january 09 though. Price is expensive. Did you remove a lot of softwares in it?

IBMs are definitely superior in build quality and that's what makes them more expensive. I second that the keyboard is one of, if not THE, best. Good vid.

I have a brand new Think Pad x61 with Windows XP SP2, and I tell you, it is SLOW. I also have a 2-yr old Mac Book Pro, and there is no comparison. I like the Think Pad for staying cool, and being so light to carry around, but the quality and speed of the Mac Book Pro kicks ass.

I know what you mean. Sometimes when I look at what a ThinkPad has compared to other brands, it just seems too unreasonable. But ThinkPads are widely renowned to have superior built quality compared to other brands. And you know it when you use one. The keyboard built is one of the best. You could trade in a few things here and there for better specs, but you do compromise quality.

multi touch and single touch are different like this. with muti touch, the screen responds to multiple actions such as rotating of writing
