You're right that Family Guy used the joke, but nothing is hardly ever ripped FROM Family Guy. That show is one big reference show and Seth McFarlaine would say the same. It's actually a pretty old joke. So was the masterbating son joke. It was really just about the way he delivered those 2 jokes that made it funny.

I doubt it's his real 24/7 voice, though that's been his act. I've heard him do impressions of Jerry Seinfeld and Bob Dylan, and sounded pretty close to them.

He's funny as shit, except for his last joke, which was hilarious but it was almost word for word ripped off from family guy, almost word for word, pretty bad low blow, but funny.
