Dances with Whales - The Humpback whale is nick named the Ballerina of the Sea. This is more like a modern dance. Taken with a hand-held gyro stablized camera on board while we were shooting a nature documentary in HD with a makohead stabilizer. We were whale watching in the Gulf of the Farallones Marine Sanctuary, near the continental shelf. This area and these kinds of whales will be affected by the oil spill. Humpback Whales Breaching.
