Here is the legendary Danny La Rue. This was seen in a long-running British television show called The Good Old Days, which ran from 1953 until 1983. Shows were broadcast and recorded from Leeds City Varieties. Song written by Siebert Edrich, published in 1953. The English use the word marrow for summer squashes, such as courgette or zucchini. Danny La Rue's autobiography, "From Drags To Riches" was published by Viking in 1987.
